![]() I need some help! I'd like to try using the MS/GiO setup live, but I can't do that with these two issues. It's still clipping, and when it's turned down via that route, my whole tone changes. I've even gone into the Audio/MIDI Devices Utilities application and tried turning the input down there, but even that doesn't fix it. Even if I turn my guitar down to almost off, it's still clipping. The signal is clipping, no matter what I do. The second issue I'm having is that the incoming signal from my guitar is EXTREMELY hot/high. Restarting computer, restarting GiO with a button held down, uninstalling GiO software and reinstalling - the intermittent noise will not go away, and it makes my programs unable to be used. I cannot get this to go away, no matter what I've tried. However, when I open up either MainStage or Garageband, the sound is terrible.įirst, there is an intermittent white/static noise that comes up every 3-4 seconds and registers about -23dB on the meter (meaning, it's quite loud). ![]() When I plug in the Gio, it definitely turns on and all the lights work. I have a Macbook Pro (Mid-2009), 2.26 GHz Core 2 Duo, 8GB RAM, running Yosemite 10.10.5 and MainStage 3.1.1. Just bought an Apogee GiO yesterday and I'm having trouble setting it up to use. ![]()
